Tom
Donaghy’s
plays include Down the Shore, Northeast Local, Minutes
from the Blue Route, From Above, The Beginning of August,
Boys and Girls and Eden Lane. Produced by
some of the most prestigious theaters in the country —
including Atlantic Theater Company, The Goodman Theater,
LaJolla Playhouse, Lincoln Center Theater, Playwrights
Horizons, Seattle Repertory and South Coast Repertory
— the plays are published in a collection by Grove
Press and archived on video at Lincoln Center Library
for the Performing Arts. The playwright’s work is
further distinguished by fellowships from the National
Endowment for the Arts and the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial
Foundation. As an essayist, Tom Donaghy has written for
American Theatre Magazine and The New York Times. Mr.
Donaghy also wrote and directed the short film The
Dadshuttle, which was photographed by the award-winning
